this set is an excellent way to get to experiment with four different colors. have fallen in love with copal and that will get it's own review. appreciate the chance to try colors i would not necessarily try. the size is adorable!!!
It's difficult picking the right shades when shopping online, so I hope these photos help others. I have a medium tan skin-tone and usually go for yellow, orange-y, golden, brown shades when it comes to makeup. Mini Eye Potions I chose: Nectar, Prince, Dune, and Earthling. I was worried Dune would be too mustard-y, but to my surprise, it looks natural and subtle on me. I like to use Dune on the outer part and Nectar on the inner part of my eye lids.
The minis are also smaller than I expected, which is totally fine, just thought they were a lil bigger. They're approx. 4.5cm in length x 1cm width. Perfect for traveling!
Lasting Power: it's my first time using liquid eye shadow and I'm very impressed. The color stays on all day! I'm a pretty active person, I spend a lot of time outdoors in the sun, work at a fast-paced restaurant, so I'm constantly SWEATY...and this shadow holds up all day and night! I have normal oily skin plus I smother myself with face oil, and the eye potion stays put! It washes off very easily too. I'm definitely sticking to these shadows.
Love the minis and love this brand that I recently discovered! Hoping the brand will make more makeup products like liquid lipstick and liquid blush/bronzer!
I love my selection of colors, Dune, Prince, Ginko, and Besito. They have excellent staying power throughout my long work day. It stays on when you want it, but also easily comes off with a gentle face cleanser. A note, the Prince color did end up being darker with my pale skin tone rather than a highlight color like I thought. My only qualm is that it dries so fast it can be difficult to apply with finesse. I sometimes have to wipe off and try again. Still figuring it out though!
My eyes have gotten itchy and sensitive with most brands of makeup but these are FINALLY some colors I can wear without problems! I missed eyeshadow, can’t recommend enough
This is the best way to sample some colors before committing to a full size. I got doll, idol, quartz and empress. I fell in love with quartz immediately (color shown). I’m definitely going to make another purchase soon. I love ❤️ this shop!!
